Computer Aided Design Drafter
Phoenix, Arizona · On-site
A successful candidate will be able to grow and collaborate as a member of our creative team of artists and fabricators. Initial duties involve creating AutoCAD libraries and updating files for more than 1,000 designs under the direction of the Principal and Lead Designers. Eventually, duties may evolve to include understanding spaces and sites via architectural plans, taking concepts — sketches and models — to detailed and accurate AutoCAD plans. The successful candidate will be highly effective at AutoCAD and has an understanding or willingness to learn about materials, fabrication processes, hardware, and tooling (such as CNC, waterjet, laser cutting, etc.).
Designers, depending on experience, can grow to manage all aspects of their assigned projects, including programming/goal setting, concept drawings, presentation materials, budgeting, graphics, sourcing materials, and project management through installation.
